Project: Restructuring and redundancy programme
Client: NHS Foundation Trust
Summary: A large scale change programme affecting over 120 staff. Support and project management was provided to design and deliver a comprehensive staff consultation programme, provide HR and employment law advice to service managers and to liaise and engage with staff representatives.

Project: Bullying and harassment investigation
Client: NHS Foundation Trust
Summary: Conducted an independent investigation into allegations of bullying and harassment in a large team within the organisation.  Analysing a variety of background information, conducting interviews with key people and drafting a final report with recommendations for the chief executive.

Project: Supporting implementation of new pay structure
Client: Charity
Summary: Provision of support and advice to the chief executive in the implementation of a new pay structure and new terms and conditions of employment. Advice and practical support on staff consultation, legal issues such as equal pay, changing employment contracts and effective use of job evaluation.

Project: Workplace mediation
Client: Sports governing body and membership organisation
Summary: Successful mediation between 2 senior members of staff who were experiencing long standing and worsening difficulties in their working relationship. Mediation provided a new way of communicating and facilitated both members of staff, who each had valuable and unique skills, to stay with the organisation and work effectively together.

Project: Management review
Client: Manufacturing company
Summary: Designed and undertook a diagnostic review of difficulties being experienced in the senior management team in working effectively together to lead the company and engaging with the workforce. Support provided in addressing identified problems and improving working relationships.

Project: Supporting business start up
Client: Community Interest Company
Summary: A new community interest company being established with support from a range of public bodies (including the police and local authority) to work with local communities to reduce crime. Support provided included designing and running recruitment processes for the positions of chair, chief executive and operations director; designing a range of HR policies appropriate for a new organisation and developing key employment documentation including contracts of employment.

Project: Advising on health and performance issues
Client: Social Enterprise
Summary: Advice and practical support provided to enable a social enterprise working in the field of recycling to effectively manage the impact of continuing ill health and resultant performance difficulties from a key member of staff.

Project: Provision of employment law and good HR practice training workshops
Client: University
Summary: Design and delivery of a series of employment law and good practice in HR workshops, running as part of a wider leadership development programme, for GPs and GP practice managers.
